Richer watchlists, daily task planning, deeper sports and weather details, and a calmer way to browse stories, links and settings — all on your glass dashboard.

Stocks

  • AddedExplore line and candle charts from one day to five years with OHLC and volume readings, zoom, pan and reset controls, a 20-bar moving average and extended-session shading. Optional market benchmarks open their own charts. Yahoo Finance quotes may be delayed.
  • ChangedChoose List, Cards, Performance or Heatmap, filter your watchlist and sort gainers or losers. Compare two to four symbols from a shared starting point, including SPY and QQQ. Returns reflect prices, without dividends or currency conversion.

Dashboard

  • ChangedDragging and resizing avoid redrawing unchanged widgets, reducing work when you arrange a dashboard with a custom wallpaper. Custom scrollbars appear while you scroll and fade away afterward.
  • ChangedOpening a widget’s settings keeps your drafts, filters and reading position. Hidden content pauses its polling; press Esc to return to its settings button.

  • ChangedPick a forecast day and inspect its hours across Temperature, Rain chance, Wind and Humidity. Pointer, touch and keyboard controls keep your selected hour as you change metrics; supplied precipitation amounts and feels-like readings add context without inventing missing values.

Dashboard

  • AddedMove and resize widgets with the keyboard in edit mode. Open Move or resize in a widget’s header, use arrows to move or Shift + arrows to resize, and press Esc to finish.

Note

  • AddedA local recovery draft preserves your latest typing even when you close the tab immediately. If another tab edits the same note, choose which version to keep.

Settings

  • ChangedBackup copy now explains that JSON exports include notes and preferences, while connected accounts and uploaded image files are excluded.
  • FixedRestore checks saved settings before replacing your setup and recovers the previous settings if a later write fails. Unsupported backups and failed imports, exports or resets show a readable error.
  • FixedSettings writes finish in order. If saving fails, Lux keeps your changes in the open tab and shows a persistent notice with a retry action.

Accounts

  • FixedSwitching accounts clears the previous account’s cached GitHub, Spotify and signed-in AniList data. Late requests and token refreshes cannot restore a disconnected account or overwrite its replacement.

Calendar

  • FixedSync remembers your calendar selection, including selecting none. A partial failure updates successful calendars without duplicating their events, and selection changes made during a sync are kept.
  • FixedLarge calendar lists load across all pages. Upcoming events get priority in large calendars, and incomplete coverage is clearly indicated.
  • FixedLate sync results cannot bring back a removed widget or a disconnected account’s events. Replacing an account clears its previous calendar selection and events.

Spotify

  • FixedPlayback, devices, queues and pending actions reset when you switch Spotify accounts, so an old request cannot change the new account’s player.

Sports

  • FixedScoreboards load the complete selected date range using daily requests, fixing loading errors and games missing from busy leagues. Repeated games appear only once.
  • FixedTeam searches retry unavailable leagues instead of saving a failed search as an empty result. Public feed errors offer Retry, and development verification notices no longer appear in scoreboards.

A reliability pass: a relay hiccup no longer costs you a sign-in, four more widgets refresh the same way, and the keyboard reaches the places it was missing.

Command palette

  • FixedBrowser sources show the icon that means them: history is no longer drawn with the same clock as recently closed tabs.

A command palette for everything Lux can do, wallpapers you can generate or choose, and a settings dialog rebuilt around what you actually change.

Dashboard

  • AddedWallpapers now come in three kinds: patterns Lux draws to match your theme, a bundled gallery, or your own images — each with its own options for motion, blur and dimming.
  • AddedRemoving a widget can be undone from a bar that counts down before it commits.
  • AddedWidgets resize from any edge or corner, and the grid grows with your window instead of staying a fixed width.
  • AddedA crash anywhere on the page now shows a recovery card with your backup close at hand, instead of an empty tab.
  • ChangedThe accent colour you pick is used across the whole app, and only ever to signal something — what is selected, live, or about to be destroyed.

Command palette

  • AddedPress Alt+T anywhere in the browser, or click the magnifying glass in the toolbar, to open a command palette over your dashboard.
  • AddedRun your widgets from it: play a song, check your AniList feed, read your GitHub inbox, look up a stock, or see today’s scores.
  • AddedSearch your bookmarks, browsing history, open tabs and most-visited sites from the same box, once you allow access.
  • AddedSearch the web, or hand a question straight to Claude or ChatGPT, without leaving the page.
  • AddedSome commands open a search of their own, so you can find a track and play it, or find a repository and open it, without leaving the palette.
  • AddedEvery command is listed whether or not it can run yet. The ones still waiting on an account, a widget or a permission say what they need, and pressing one takes you straight there.
  • AddedThe commands you use most rise to the top of the list on their own.

Settings

  • AddedSettings is now one dialog with tabs for Appearance, Widgets, Accounts, Shortcuts, Command palette, Storage and About, and a search that finds any setting by name.
  • AddedEvery widget type has a default surface and refresh rate you can set once.

Quick Access

  • AddedBrowse your bookmarks folder by folder instead of only seeing a flat list.
  • ChangedLoads more of your bookmarks, history, and recently closed tabs as you scroll, rather than quietly stopping at the first page.
  • ChangedThe Recently closed list needs one more browser permission than before, so its toggle in Settings will read as off after this update. Chrome withholds the title and address of a closed tab without it, which is why that list used to come up blank. Turn it back on and it will work properly.
  • FixedThe pin marker now uses the widget’s own accent colour, instead of ignoring it.

Spotify

  • AddedShows the playlist or album the current track is playing from.
  • FixedSearch now lets you play to any of your available devices, instead of refusing to work until one was already active — and it shows your results right away rather than waiting on your saved-track state.

Sports

  • AddedA new widget: live and upcoming scores for the leagues and teams you follow — NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, and NHL. Open a game for the line score, game leaders, and detail that keeps up while it’s live. No account needed.

Stocks

  • FixedA failed token refresh no longer signs you out of a connected account. A dropped connection or a slow network is treated as temporary, and your account stays put.
